Community Schools

Luther Burbank High School is proud to serve as a designated Community School in our school district. The CDE California Community Schools Framework (full text linked here) establishes a transformative approach to education that prioritizes the “whole-child” model, integrating academics with health, social services, and community engagement. This initiative aims to address the unique needs of students and families by fostering partnerships between schools, local agencies, and community organizations.
